Do I need to already know Japanese?
No. There is material from N5 to N1, and you pick the level and the activity. There is no fixed order.
Does the yearly plan renew automatically?
Yes, every 12 months. You can cancel the next renewal at any time from the billing portal in your account.
Does the lifetime plan include future improvements?

Does this replace Anki or Duolingo?
